Jodha Akbar: 7th May; Todarmal's Advice For Jalal

Jodha Akbar 7th May written episode: King Bharmal receives message that Shivani and Tejwant have been forgiven by Akbar. He still refuses to forgive them, as his daughter has brought an insult upon the Rajbanshi culture. Shahnaz tells Jodha that Akbar should be forgiven by now, as he loves her a lot.

Todarmal gets Akbar’s message and visits Agra. Akbar wants to give him the responsibilities of accounts. Todarmal gives two conditions—firstly he will be given complete freedom to handle his responsibility in his own way and secondly, no one except Akbar himself will interfere in the matters of accounts. Akbar agrees to these conditions. Todarmal wants to join work as fast as possible.

Adam Khan, Sharifuddin and other anti-Hindu officers get angry over the fact that a Hindu man is being recruited for an important post in the Mughal Empire. They discuss over the matter in a secret meeting. Again Adam Khan puts all the blame on Atgah.

Akbar tells Salima how he met Todramal and how Todarmal helped him without expecting anything in return. He shares with Salima the story of the tour with Jodha. On the other hand, Jodha shares the same story with her grandma and remembers Akbar. Jawida comes to Maha Manga and tells her that she loves her in spite of everything and respects her as a mother. It gives comfort to Maha Manga.

Todarmal complains to Akbar about corruption in the system. He says that there are a lot of discrepancies in the account. Atgah supports him. He says that the common people are being deprived by this.

Akbar argues that a big amount of fund is issued for the welfare of the public. Todarmal tells him that he should investigate whether the fund is at all used for the public. He should often go amid the mass taking disguise, suggests Todarmal, as it would give a message to the officers that the Emperor is well aware about the condition of the mass and by this process, corruption will decrease.
