Jodha Akbar: Resham Khan Behind The Attack On Salim?

Jodha Akbar December 1st episode: Akbar, Rahim and Birbal come to the market to investigate the incident of attack on Salim. They find a tailor who says that few days ago a group of Muslim men ordered Hindu attires from his shop. The matter raises doubt. He names one of the men as Altaf. Eventually they find Altaf and his associates in an inn and catch them.

By interrogating Altaf, Akbar finds the name of his boss, who is none other than Sharifuddin’s father, an old enemy of the Mughal Empire. Akbar catches him too. But he understands that there must be someone inside the palace, who gave current and exact information to the attackers. By interrogating Sharifuddin’s father, Akbar comes to know the name of the mastermind.

Akbar and his team enter the palace and ask where Rukaiya is. They are informed that Rukaiya is enjoying a music function. They break into the hall and stop the music. Rukaiya becomes scared seeing Akbar’s angry face.

Akbar says that he has caught the traitor who is living very much within his palace. He catches Resham Khan. Resham says that she is not a traitor, but she is a confidant of Maha Manga, who was his actual boss.

Resham continues that Maha Manga is the person who shaped the present structure of Mughal Kingdom. She used to treat Akbar as her own child, but Akbar gave her nothing in return. Maha Manga and her son Adham Khan died pathetically. So, she has avenged their death, explains Resham!
