It is not very often that legendary cricketer like Kapil Dev, who stick to sports channels, come out of their hiding to appear on a mainstream show. Kapil Dev, not only appeared on Kapil Sharma's Comedy Nights With Kapil, he imitated Dev Anand and even said Dadi's patended line - 'itthu sa tha', to Siddhu Paji.
Kapil Sharma's Comedy Nights With Kapil had Cricketer of the Century, and the former skipper of Indain Cricket team, Kapil Dev on the comedy show. The greatest all-rounder, not only had a gala time on the show, was even seen showcasing his comic side as well.
Kapil Dev along with Kapil Sharma discussed a lot about cricket and the times when Kapil won India's first ever world cup. Kapil Dev along with Siddhu Paji, revealed a lot of their secrets which are never discussed as often. The same was seen in the Sunil Gavaskar episode as well.
What was most surprising was Kapil Dev's immitating Dev Anand and former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee on the epic Comedy Nights episode. While talking about his memory during a meeting in Pakistan, where Vajpayee and Dev Anand were present with him, Kapiil Dev showed how the politician and the legendary Bollywood actor walked alongside each other.
