Khatron Ke Khiladi 5: Gauhar, Kushal Separated After Competing With Grenades

Fear Factor Khatron Ke Khiladi 5 saw Gauhar Khan and Kushal Tandon competing each other in a series of military tasks including grenades, after completing which Kushal leaves the show stating a shoulder injury he succumbed during the stunt.

The first task that Rohit Shetty announced this week was for the popular love birds Gauhar Khan and Kushal Tandon. The couple, who have so far been standing by each other during all their deadly stunts, would this time compete each other and the one who would loose will be going directly to eliminations.

The couple who have been standing together had to compete with each other in this task. The task comprised of a series of strenuous military tasks to save a dummy body. Also, to make the task even more difficult, both have to complete this stunt with a carpet of grenades spread around the field.

While Kushal manage to complete the task with great difficulty, due to his shoulder injury, he declared that this will be his last stunt and he would be stepping out of the show as well. Gauhar, on the other hand went on to attempt the stunt and with great difficulty got to the dead body.

Thus comes an end to Kushal's three week journey in the stunt-based adventure reality show. Though Kushal left the show, he will remain in Cape Town until Gauhar Khan is in the show and they returned to Mumbai together at the end.
