Nach Baliye 6: Movie Special; Jodis Perform Like Ranbir, Deepika….!

Nach Baliye 6 this week had a movie special episode where the jodis had to perform like partners from the actual movies. Shahrukh-Deepika from Om Shanti Om, Abhishek-Rani from Bunty aur Babli, Ranbir-Priyanka from Barfi, Arjun-Parineeti from Ishaqzaade, Aishwarya-Hrithik from Jodha Akbar and Aamir-Asin from Ghajini.

Every contestant was told to perform and portray these characters of filmy duniya. Jodis made the audiences and the judges relive the moment from the past.

The first Jodi to perform was the fun loving Jodi of Rithvik Dhanjani and Asha Negi. They played the character of Aishwarya Rai and Hrithik Roshan from the movie Jodha Akbar and performed over the song in 'Lamho ke daman main'. Judges found the act impressive and praised the grace presented by them.

Next to perform on stage were Raqesh Vashisht and Ridhi Dogra. They essayed the character of Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone from the movie Om Shanti Om.

Chef Ripu Daman Handa performed with his baliye on the title track of Ishaqzaade. Ripu played the character of Arjun Kapoor, while Parineeti was played by Shivangi.

Kiku Sharda and wife Priyanka were Abhishek Bachchan and Rani Mukherjee from the movie Bunty Aur Babli. As usual, Kiku managed to pull in the fun element which was liked by all.

Vinod Thakur and Raksha were Aamir and Asin from the movie Ghajini. The judges applauded them for their excellent timing and energy level.

There was one act that left everyone spell bound. Gurmeet Choudhary and Debina's performance of being Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra from the movie Barfi was a brilliant attempt.

Nach Baliye 6 is a dance reality show on Star Plus and has 11 popular TV stars coming along with their Baliye and performing over the hit numbers. It is judged by the very famous judge trio: Shilpa Shetty, Sajid Khan and Terence Lewis. Till date, there have been four eliminations that included Lata-Sanjeev, Yash-Amrapali, Bruna-Omar, Raju Shrivastav-Shikha and Kanica Maheshwari-Ankur Ghai.
