Any news of Karan Singh Grover's association with Gul Khan will definitely bring a smile to our lips. But this time, it's a little different. It is not Karan Singh Grover, but his significant other, Jennifer Winget, who will be working in Qubool Hai producer Gul Khan's next. Jennifer Winget is rumoured to be playing a Muslim girl in Gul Khan's serial titled 'Humsafar'. The show is also said to mark the comeback of heartthrob Harshad Chopra, opposite Jennifer.
If reports are to be believed, cutie pies Jennifer Winget and Harshad Chopra have been finalised for Qubool Hai director-producer Gul Khan's upcoming venture, tentaively titled 'Humsafar'. It will air on Sony Pal, SET's to-be-launched channel.
While Jennifer is working in Star Plus' Saraswatichandra opposite Gautam Rode; Harshad Chopra, who was last seen in Life OK's Dil Se Di Dua- Saubhagyavati Bhava, will be returning to TV after over a year. What remains to be seen is whether Jennifer will quit Saraswatichandra for 'Humsafar'.
A source reveals, "The story of Humsafar is based on a family of three sisters and their mother staying staying in Agra. She will come down to Mumbai to fulfill her dream of becoming a fashion designer. Their father has left them since he wanted a son. This is the reason; the lead of the show hates men. She is too ambitious, but also has to go to anger management therapy to control her anger."
Other the contrary, there are also reports suggesting that a fresh face from Shimla has bagged Jennifer's role in 'Humsafar'. The problem also seems to be with finding a new producer, as Karan Singh Grover, who was supposed to co-produce the show, is busy with his Bollywood debut, 'Alone'.
So nothing is finalised as yet, we believe, as neither Karan Singh Grover nor Gul Khan have confirmed anything. Sony Pal is scheduled for an August Launch.
