Television actress Deepika Singh and Diya Aur Baati Hum's director Rohit Raj Goyal's Sangeet ceremony was held on 30th April, 2014. The couple will tie the knot on 2nd May.

Diya Aur Baati Hum star-cast, Neelu Vaghela ( Bhabho), Kanika Maheshwari ( Meenakshi ), Pooja Singh, Arun Lokhande, Neil Bhatt and many other members from the show were present at the sangeeth ceremony of Sandhya aka Deepika Singh. Sooraj, Anas Rashid, however, was not seen around.

Deepika had announced in March saying, "Rohit and I are getting married in the first week of May in Mumbai. It will be a love-cum-arranged marriage." The couple met on the sets but was not a love at first sight.

When Deepika had joined the show she was quite new to the industry and Rohit at that time as a mentor helped her out and guided her through her ups and downs. She had said, "When I first met him on the set, I used to be quite vocal about my thoughts and being from Delhi, I'd be quite moohfat in my thoughts with him, have cute fights with him and was never afraid of him. But he really moulded me and shaped my career as an actress. Rohit is a genuine person, he's someone you can trust and he really respects a woman. In my case, you can say that behind a successful woman, there is a man."
