Rangrasiya To End In September To Make Way For Bigg Boss 8?

Rangrasiya, the show starring Ashish Sharma and Sanaya Irani, has failed to capture audience interest despite considerable efforts. The Colors show is reportedly coming to an end due to continuing mediocre ratings to make way for Salman Khan hosted reality show Bigg Boss 8.

The Colors prime time show that aired along with Beintehaa in December 2013 has tried every trick in the book to increase ratings. While Beintehaa grasped substancial ratings, Rangrasiya has failed miserably at it. It is now said that the channel has decided to end the show to make way for the controvercial reality show Bigg Boss 8 in September.

Rangrasiya's story, though quite interesting and unique, did not click with the viewers. There can be many reasons for it but the strongest one could be because of the show clashing with the other popular ones at the same time slot.

The Colors Rangrasiya clashes with Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai on Star Plus and Qubool Hai on Zee TV. When we compare the ratings, Yeh Rishta.. is currently getting 7.0, Qubool Hai - 5.5 and Rangrasiya is left with a disappointing 2.5.

The controversial reality show Bigg Boss season 8 is said to be scheduled to on air in mid September. The time slot 9 pm to 10 pm will be blocked by the show for the three months that it will be on air.

Whether or not the show Beintehaa too will go off air along with Rangrasiya, since both the shows have had disappointing ratings, is yet to be seen.
