Salman Yusuff Khan Gives Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 7 A Miss!

One cannot help but miss ace choreographer and Remo D'Souza's pet, Salman Yusuff Khan this season on Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 7. Was Salman, who choreographed for brilliant dancers like Yana Gupta (Jhalak 4), Isha Sharvani (Jhalak 5) and winner Drashti Dhami (Jhalak 6), too busy for Jhalak 7 due to his busy shooting for Khatron Ke Khiladi 5 in Cape Town?

Salman Yusuff Khan, or small screen's Salman Khan, as he is called, has been a staple on celebrity dance reality show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa for the last three seasons. The handsome hunk who became a household name and an icon after winning the first season of Zee TV's Dance India Dance, is one of the most sought-after choreographers on the show.

Unfortunately, the Bengaluru boy will not be able to spare time for JDJ 7 this time, as the shooting and practice sessions for Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 7 had already commenced when he was shooting for Khatron Ke Khiladi 5. "I had already signed another show and it would not have been possible for me to devote the required time to Jhalak for so many weeks on end." says Salman. May be, Salman, who married his long-time girlfriend in late 2013, will use the free time to go on his honeymoon, which was getting postponed due to his shooting schedule.

Salman, though not on the show, strongly recommends Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 7 to the viewers. "There are fantastic dancers on #Jhalak this season. Make sure you watch it!" he tweeted. But will Jhalak remain the same without Salman's signature 30 on 30 points every week?

However, Salman fans will not b entirely disappointed. The choreographer will be uniting with Any Body Can Dance co-star and ex-contestant of Jhalak, Lauren Gottlieb, for a special performance on the show. "You guys will see me on #Jhalak this year. I will be teaming up with Lauren and will perform from the judges' end. We will throw a challenge at the celebrities and push them to step up their game." he disclosed through Twitter. But whether Sallu's performance will be on the opening episode of JDJ 7, or will we have to wait longer, is something only time will reveal.
