Saraswatichandra: 7th April; Saras Risks Life Searching Kumud

Saraswatichandra 7th April written episode: Sunanda calls Guman and tells her that it is the day of Kumud’s first performance. Guman tells her that Kumud’s family and her husband are desperately searching her. Jugnu offers money to Sunanda and wants Kumud’s freedom. He acknowledges his love for her and says that he cannot see her dancing. Sunanda demands twenty lakhs as ransom. He thinks that he will collect the amount to emancipate Kumud.

At Sundarnagar, Saras comes to a shop and asks about Kumud. He cannot show her photo as his mobile has become switched off. He searches for his wallet for the photo and finds that it is picked by a man. Saras chases the man. When he catches him, he takes out knife and attacks. Another man saves him. It is the same person who saved Kumud from the goons, in the guise of a eunuch.

Saras bursts on the man for not being able to grab the wallet. The man cannot understand what can be more important to Saras than his life. Saras explains that he is searching his wife and there was a photo of hers in the wallet. He adds that Kumud had a ghungru in her hand.

The man says that his name is Majnu and he takes different guises to earn money. He confirms Kumud’s description and says that Kumud has gone to Chandni Bazar. He wants to assist Saras in his mission. They again meet the pickpocket. Saras snatches his wallet and gets back Kumud’s photo. Majnu tells Saras that Kumud was searching Guman aka Rupmati.

Sunanda sends dress for Kumud. Kusum takes the dress for her. She counsels her saying that if she wants to escape, she must fool Sunanda by leading her to think that she has gave up. Then Sunanda will loosen her grip and Kumud will find a chance to flee, suggests Kusum.
