Guess what, it's selfie mania on Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 7. The selfie bug, which spread like wildfire after Ellen DeGeneres clicked a group picture at the Oscars earlier this year, has not spared dance reality show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa either. The trend was set off by Alia Bhatt, who requested contestant Sophie Choudry for a 'Humphie' together, during the promotions of upcoming film Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania at the Jhalak 7 Premiere.
Alia Bhatt, during the Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 7 Premeire, urged Sophie Choudry for a Humpty Sharma special selfie, which she ever so fondly refered to as 'Humphie'. She confirmed that she loves pouting, and since she finds Sophie's lips very poutable, wants a selfie with her. Ultimately, Alia's proposal led to a groupie with the entire Jhalak family. Aww.
Now, post the premiere episode of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 7, many selfies are being posted by the members of the Jhalak family, and by guests as well. Sidharth Malhotra and Shraddha Kapoor who were on Jhalak to promote Ek Villain were seen snaping selfies together. Sunny Leone too, who was on the Jhalak sets, had posted selfies with Palak (Kiku) and Sophie Choudry. Sophie seems to have emerged as the queen of selfies on Jhalak 7.
The most noteworthy selfie-maniacs on the Jhalak sets, however, seem to be Karan Tacker and Elena Samodanova, who have posted quite a few number of selfies of themselves during a drive, a party, during rehearsals in the Jhalak house, and so on.
Other selfie-addicts on Jhalak 7 include Karan Tacker's namesake Karan Johar, Madhuri Dixit, Drashti Dhami, Ashish Sharma and guest Siddharth Shukla. The Ukrain-imported judge, Maksim Chmerkovskiy too, announced his arrival on the Jhalak 7 sets through a selfie. Selfies are definitely here to stay on Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 7.
