Finally! Sunil Grover: I Shot For Comedy Nights With Kapil Today!

Sunil Grover, more popular as Gutthi, tweeted late night yesterday, July 23rd, that he shot for Kapil Sharma's Comedy Nights With Kapil. Sunil had quit a while back for his own show Mad In India on Star Plus, and now is back on Kapil's show after his show shut shop.

"You know what... I shot for for the show 'Comedy nights with Kapil' today. O fridge!" Sunil had tweeted late night yesterday after shooting for the Kapil Sharma's show. Kapil, who has always been active on twitter hasn't yet said anything about Sunil's return.

Everyone knows that Sunil left the show last November stating bad remuneration on the Colors comedy show. He was then bagged by Star Plus to co-host Mad In India along with Manish Paul. But despite repeated efforts the show did not seem to work out as planned and the channel decided to shut shop in just three months.

Apparently, Sunil was to shoot for the show a month back but there were undisclosed reasons that did not let him shoot for the show then. Looks like the issues have been resolved as Sunil shot his first episode after returning back to the show.

Also, it is said that he will not be playing the hot favourite, Gutthi, on the show but will be playing various other characters. He apparently will be playing Bittu (Kapil) Sharma's father-in-law and Manju's (Sumona Chakraverti) father in his first episode.
