Harassments have been in the news every other day. Recently in news was Preity Zinta slamming a case on her ex-boyfriend Ness Wadia for assault! Such cases are becoming commoner by the day, let’s have a look at some Telly actresses who have faced harassment on the sets of their serials.

‘Jodha Akbar’ has always been in the news, courtesy Paridhi Sharma claiming that she was sexually harassed by the serial’s director Santram Verma! Paridhi had accused Santram of assaulting her, whereas the latter claims that he doesn’t even call or talk to Telly’s ‘Jodha’! However, Santram has always been caught in controversies; with another TV actress Ankita Dubey also complaining against Santram. There is no smoke without fire and though, Santram claims these rumours are just to harm his reputation, there was news of a mass walkout of 90 people due to the director’s misbehavior! Just few days back, ‘Yeh Hai Mohabattein’ actress Divyanka Tripathi faced a murky situation where a drunkard entered the sets and passed lewd remarks on her. The drunkard was arrested by the local inspectors but since then, Divyanka has increased the security personnel on the sets to ensure safety of all women there.

‘Big Boss Season 7’ displayed the ‘Baap’ of harassments and assaults! Armaan Kohli was the cynosure of everyone’s eye where he was caught abusing Sofia Hayat and allegedly hit her with a mop which left her injured! Subsequently, Sofia filed a complaint with the Lonavala police, who took Armaan into custody for a while too! Armaan’s aggression was also seen with Kamya where he severely abused her which left her in tears. On similar lines, Kushal Tandon was not far behind! Big Boss’ controversy child, he was seen severely abusing co-contestant Tanishaa Mukherjee, calling her names and criticizing her physical stature too!

Harassments and aggressive behavior on the sets of serials and shows is a common situation read by people. Scenarios of TV actresses harassed by the director or co-actor in serials and shows have been reported more often nowadays. However, how much of it is the truth remains to be seen!
