We love our favourite characters from the daily soaps; in fact it wouldn’t be wrong to say that we somewhere get attached to the character and when they suddenly disappear from the scene, it does become little difficult to digest, isn’t it?

The most hi-profile firing was definitely that of Karan Singh Grover from ‘Qubool Hai’. The actor who was hugely popular as ‘Asad’ was taken off the show due to his unprofessional behavior, appearing late on the sets and even making excuses of his sickness! Albeit, he used to be seen partying! This compelled the producers to take this decision. Tanishaa who rose to popularity with ‘Big Boss 7’ began judging ‘Gangs of Hasseepur’ but was removed soon; the team quoting that she lacked spontaneity!

‘Jhilmil Sitaaron Ka Aangan Hoga’ lead Pankaj Tiwari was in for a shock when he realized that he was replaced overnight by Aamir Ali. The production allegedly was not happy with the audience response to Pankaj. Sonorika Bhadoria was always in the news for her tantrums she threw on the sets of ‘Mahadev’. This led the producers showing her the door! Well, Manish Paul is doing a great job in ‘Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa’ but he was the replacement for pretty damsel Dhrashti Dhami who was sacked by the producers due to her lack of presentation skills!

Though Sunil Grover is back in ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’ with a bang, everyone remembers the stir created when he was removed from the show; the reason being that he asked for a better pay hike, quoting his successful character ‘Gutthi’! You may have noticed Telly actor Gurcharan Singh on the famous ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chashmah’! The Sardar was thrown off due to his unending tantrums; the result being his replacement Laad Singh Maan coming in his shoes.

The latest news suggests Iqbal Khan out of ‘Tumhaari Paakhi’! Shocking but Iqbal however suggests that he was not happy with the way the serial was moving. The list is endless and seems that producers are no longer okay with coping up with the cast’s tantrums and sub-standard performances!
