Raqesh Vashisth, or the brand new Asad in Zee TV's Qubool Hai who replaced Karan Singh Grover, accepts that when he had started shooting, he was scared of all the fans of Qubool Hai as they were not ready to accept him in this role.
Raqesh, who had quit Nach Baliye 6 to join the Qubool Hai team, reveals that he was initially nervous in taking up this role and the criticism that he had got from all the KSG and Qubool Hai fans just worsened the situation for him.
After a lot of ifs and buts, Raqesh has been half heartedly accepted by the audiences, but what makes him satisfied now is that the audience is liking his performance and the crew and cast are now extremely supportive to him.

The root cause of all these problems came up when Karan Singh Grover was fired by the Qubool Hai producers for his unprofessional and rigid attitude which later resulted into a revolting campaign to get KSG back.
