Yeh Hai Mohabbatein 8th February written episode: The Sangeet ceremony starts with Bharat Natyam, a pure South Indian classical dance form. The guests are bored and start yawning. Simmi hits the stage with a dashing number, mocking the South Indians. Simmi and Romi keep distributing their special ‘Prasad’. Mihir and Romi rock the stage while dancing in a funny song. Everyone, including the South Indians enjoy their performance. The whole Bhalla family, except Raman, dance on the stage. Mihika mocks Raman, saying that he cannot dance.

Raman taunts Ishita seeing mehendi at her hands. He says that she is participating in all the rituals of marriage, when she told him that she is not interested in these things. Ishita tells him that she is doing this for her family.

Madhavi finds bottles of alcohol outside the hall and she understands that it has been added to the ‘Punjabi Prasad’. She fumes in anger thinking that the Punjabis are being disrespectful of the holy ceremony. Mr Iyer prevents her from spilling the beans inside the hall. He says that when people are enjoying the function, there is no reason to destroy the merriment.

Ashok asks Shagun what for she has spent a big amount. Shagun explains that Raman has bribed Ishita by sponsoring her trousseau. So, she must give a far better bribe. She has bought a diamond set for Ishita. Ashok appreciates her. She also shows Ashok the photo of Ruhi, sent by Tanu from the gift shop, to prove that she has become a good mother to Ruhi.
