Yeh Hai Mohabbatein Wins 6 Awards At Star Parivaar 2014; Divyanka Tripathi, Karan Patel Overjoyed!

The team of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein- Divyanka Tripathi, Karan Patel, Ruhinka Dhawan and the others had the best night of their lives at the Star Parivaar Awards 2014, as their serial outdid all the other nominees and ruled Star TV's most awaited awards night by winning a total of 6 awards last night.

Divyanka Tripathi in particular, who plays Ishita in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, was over the moon, as she bagged 4 awards. Karan Patel, her onscreen hubby, was no less, as he too bagged 3 trophies. "It was a very memorable night for me today. I won four awards and that's not all, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein even won the Favourite Family Award. Raman and Ruhi also won awards." Divyanka quipped.

Yeh Hai Mohabbatein won in 6 categories- Favorite Naye Sadasya (Male): Raman (Karan Patel), Favorite Naye Sadasya (Female): Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi), Rishta Nayi Soch Ka: Ishita-Ruhi, Favorite Jodi: Raman-Ishita, Favorite International Jodi: Raman-Ishita and Favorite Family.

We do not want to argue whether the flooding awards were because the night was just a lucky one for the cast of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein or not, but with the consistently high TRPs and the increasing popularity, the team must definitely be doing something right.

Yeh Hai Mohabbatein has, over time, gained a wide fan base due to it's unconventional storyline and the unusual combination of the south and the north- the same formula which clicked for films like Chennai Express and 2 States.
