Abhi-Pragya Romance Drama Kumkum Bhagya Completes One Year!

With Abhi (Shabbir Ahluwalia)-Pragya (Sriti Jha) and Purab-Bulbul's (Mrunal Thakur) romance-drama and Alia-Tanu's dreadful plans, Ekta Kapoor has proven herself successful yet again with her another show Kumkum Bhagya. The Zee TV's popular show completed one year, yesterday (15th April). Most of them might not know that the serial is inspired from the novel Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen.

Sriti aka Pragya was glad that she was part of the show and was impressed with the show's concept and script. Though Sriti had no idea about the celebration, she was sure about cake cutting ceremony.

Sriti was quoted by Tellychakkar, "I am fortunate enough to be part of the show. Although everyday is a celebration for us, but today the show has completed a year and it's a very proud and happy moment for us. I am the kind of actress who loses interest very easily but Kumkum Bhagya's concept and good script has kept me hooked. I would praise the writers for bringing up all the twist and turns in the soap."

Kumkum Bhagya is all about a Punjabi matriarch Sarla Arora's daughters. Sarla runs a marriage hall and dreams of seeing her daughters - Pragya and Bulbul, happily married someday. One of whom Pragya is married to Abhi and other daughter has got engaged to Abhi's best buddy Purab. The show is all about these two couples and their triangular love stories.

Between Abhi and Pragya is Tanu. And Alia, Abhi's sister, is madly in love with Purab. She is plotting dreadful plans to kill Bulbul. In the recent episode, we saw how Alia disguises as nurse and tries to kill Bulbul in the hospital. In the upcoming episode, we will see how Pragya tries to lure Abhi with her glamorous look.
