Ashnoor Kaur To Play Akshara-Naitik’s Daughter Naira In Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Post Leap

The popular drama of Star Plus, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH), is all set for a leap. Previously, the leap was delayed as the producers of the show had problem in finding a fresh face for Akshara (Karan Mehra) and Naitik's (Hina Khan) son Naksh. Now that Naksh and Naira's roles have been finalised, the leap is soon going to happen.

Rohan Mehra will be replacing Shivansh Kotia and the cute little baby will be replaced by Ashnoor Kaur. Naksh and Naira will be 20-year-old and 12-year-old, respectively.

Ashnoor was seen in many serials and has impressed the audiences. She was seen in shows like Jhansi Ki Rani (as Prachi), Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha and Shobha Somnath Ki. She also made a cameo appearance as Mayra Kapoor in Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar's Bade Acche Lagte Hain, while Rohan played the role of Varun in the same serial.

Naksh will be shown as handsome and naughty character. To match this character, show makers previously had problem finding a new face. According to IANS the team had auditioned over 200 boys for the character of Naksh.

Post leap the shooting will be taking place in Cape Town. Akshara and Naitik will be seen sporting new looks, which is kept as secret. Apparently, Akshara will shed her sari clad avatar and will be donning Indo-western clothes.

In the upcoming episode, we will see Singhania family in new avatar. All family members will be seen in Rajasthani attire. They will enjoy the wedding ceremony of Muskan and Alok to the fullest.
