Bigg Boss 9 With Salman Khan: Deepika Padukone Is The New Bigg Boss; Promotes Tamasha Sans Ranbir!

Well, the recent promo of Colors' controversial reality show, Bigg Boss 9, showed Deepika Padukone as the new Bigg Boss. Deepika will be the new Bigg Boss for a day and will be seen doing Tamasha with the Bigg Boss 9 contestants!

Deepika will be seen promoting her upcoming film Tamasha, sans Ranbir Kapoor on the sets of Salman Khan's Bigg Boss 9.

As we informed, Deepika and Ranbir are on promotion spree. The lead couple of the upcoming film Tamasha, will also be seen on Color's two shows - Comedy Nights With Kapil and Comedy Nights Bachao. They will also be seen on Zee TV's I Can Do That Finale Episode, where they will also be seen trying maneuvering an electronic Segway. It has to be noted that, on all other shows, Deepika was accompanied by Ranbir, but why did the latter give a miss to Salman's show. Is Salman, the reason for Ranbir's absence on Bigg Boss 9 show?

It has to be recalled that at Sonam Kapoor's Diwali party, Salman, his ex-girlfriend Katrina Kaif, and Kat's current boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor were among few guests who were invited. While Salman went up and met Katrina Kaif, he completely ignored Ranbir!

A source close to the show was quoted by a leading daily as saying, "Ranbir has decided to skip 'Bigg Boss 9' because of Salman. After all, meeting your girlfriend's ex is always awkward."

The source added, "Now (after the above mentioned incident), Ranbir clearly doesn't wish to make things any more awkward by going to the reality show sets and sharing screen space with Salman."

It is not surprising that Ranbir will not be accompanying Deepika in promoting Tamasha in the Bigg Boss 9 show. The reason being his link up with Katrina and Salman being Kat's ex-boyfriend.
