Chidiya Ghar’s Manish Vishwakarma Slips Into Coma; Shilpa Shinde Quotes Medical Negligence!

We had earlier (29th June) reported that SAB TV's show, Chidiya Ghar's Mendak Prasad aka Manish Vishwakarma, met with an accident and was in ICU, battling for his life at a Mumbai hospital. Recent news has it that the actor has slipped into coma.

According to a leading daily, the actor's friend Shilpa Shinde claimed that due to improper medical treatment at a government hospital, Manish has slipped into coma.

Shilpa was quoted by a leading daily, "When Manish, who is always punctual, didn't reach the sets on time, a production scheduler called him almost 25 times till a cop answered the call and informed that Manish had met with an accident. He was taken to a nearby hospital but the doctors there were unequipped to handle with such severe injuries and suggested they take him to KEM Hospital in Parel."

Shilpa even said to the leading daily that she even heard from actor Trishikha Tripathi, who was with Manish's parents in the hospital, that the doctors did a CT scan where doctors had different diagnosis. One doctor said it was brain haemorrhage while another doctor had some other opinion.

Currently, the actor is treated at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. Dr Rajan Shah said that Mainish was unconscious when he was brought to the hospital and he was put on the breathing machine, immediately. Another leading daily quoted Dr Rajan as saying, "He has suffered a severe head injury and is in coma. It is too early to comment on his status but I'm hopeful he'll get better."

The actor was apparently rushed to hospital when he was hit by a car near Film City. He was riding a bike and had suffered severe head injury. Koyal Ghotak Narayan aka Aditi Sajwan, who works with Manish on the show, tweeted, "Our coactor from cg Manish Vishwakarma Menduk has met with an accident today morning, he's in icu, pls pray that he's ok...n spread the word."
