Dance India Dance Judge Geeta Kapoor In Trouble For Ramming Car Into Biker!

Dance reality show, Dance India Dance judge and choreographer Geeta Kapoor landed in trouble as she got arrested for knocking down a biker. She was later released on bail.

This incident reportedly happened yesterday (12th March, Thursday) at 5 am, when she was driving back home in Lokhandwala after dropping her friend in Yari Road.

According to a leading daily, Geeta's white Honda Accord hit the victim, Nisar Mohammed (37) when he had stepped outside the store after purchasing some medicines. Geeta got the victim admitted to the hospital. Nisar, who is an electrician, suffered leg fracture and is out of danger.

Ravindranath Pawar, senior police inspector, Versova police station was quoted by a leading daily as saying, "Choreographer Geeta Kapur was driving back to her home in Lokhandwala after dropping off her friend in Yari Road. She told us that she was trying to avoid hitting a rash biker when she lost control of the vehicle and hit Nisar."

Police also confirmed that the choreographer was not under influence of alcohol and had taken care of the victim's health. Geeta was arrested under section 279 (rash driving) and section 338 (causing grievous hurt) of the Indian Penal Code. In the evening, she was granted bail too.

Geeta Kapoor took to her Twitter, where she posted, "All is well all is well all is well...God is kind." In her recent post, she had asked everyone to pray for the speedy recovery of the victim. She wrote, "Thank u for all the concern ..Everything is taken care of by God grace..if anything then Pls do pray for the speedy recovery of the injured."
