Diya Aur Baati Hum: Sandhya Plans To Become Opera Dancer

Diya Aur Baati Hum's August 10th episode: Sandhya comes to Shekhar’s hut and starts chatting with him. She asks him whether the Garjana is going to present any theater show on the Independence Day. Shekhar gives a suspicious stare at her. He says he has no idea about it.

Chanchal, the dancer of the opera, comes and complains about the dress Shekhar has provided to her. She also demands a high remuneration. Shekhar says he is fed-up with her tantrums. Sandhya thinks this is a good chance for her. She can take the dancer’s place in the opera and collect more information about the Garjana.

Sandhya makes a plan. She tells Sajni’s son to take Chanchal to the jungle. She goes with Manjari to collect firewood in the jungle and sees Chanchal sitting on a swing. Manjari keeps shouting at Sandhya. Sandhya goes to Chanchal and starts chatting.

Chanchal says she is enjoying the fine breeze but the flies are disturbing her. Sandhya wraps her dupatta around Chanchal's head. She tells her to rest on the swing and leaves her basket beside her. She says she is going to collect some firewood.

Manjari sees Chanchal from behind and thinks Sandhya aka Sagarika is resting. She becomes angry and pushes Chanchal. Chanchal falls on the ground and the swing hurts her leg. Sandhya watches it and thinks her plan is successful.

Bhabho says she wants a simple marriage for Sooraj in the presence of the family members only, because she has to hide his mental condition. Babasa scolds Bhabho for lying to Lalima and her brother; she ignores him.

Lokesh comes to the Rathi house and says he wants to arrange the engagement. Bhabho agrees and sends Sooraj to buy gifts for the bride. The family becomes tensed.
