Diya Aur Baati Hum: Sandhya Meets Boss And Asks About Family

Diya Aur Baati Hum's August 1st episode: Manjari sends Sandhya to sell molasses cakes in the village market. She calls the customers aloud to buy the sweet cakes, and waits for the police person who is to meet her in the market. The Boss himself comes to meet Sandhya in the guise of a Muslim man.

The boss asks for some sweet cakes. Sandhya gives him a message with the cakes. She writes that she has failed to mark Chandu as every man or boy in the village is called Chandu. She says that she will apply some tricks to know who the actual leader of the group is.

Sandhya asks for the updates of her family. The Boss thinks that she will lose her strength if she comes to know that her family has ended all relationships with her and Bhabho has wiped out her name. He tells her that everybody is fine. Shekhar keeps watch on Sandhya from a distance.

Bhabho comes to the sweet shop and meets Lalima. She introduces herself as Sooraj’s mother. Lalima says she has heard a lot about Sooraj, because he is a famous confectioner. She says that she and her brother have decided to run the sweet shop after their father. She asks for Bhabho’s blessings.

Bhabho tells Babasa that she must get her son married to Lalima. Babasa tells her to think well before she takes this step. But Bhabho is determined, because she thinks that Lalima can change Sooraj’s life.

Sooraj recalls a day when he was instructing Sandhya to make a sweet dish. He re-acts the same while Lalima is cooking the same thing in her sweet shop. Lalima thinks Sooraj is guiding her!
