Diya Aur Baati Hum: Lalima To Rethink Her Decision Of Marrying Sooraj?

Diya Aur Baati Hum's August 13th episode: Bhabho gets Sooraj formally engaged with Lalima, with the help of a clever trick. Before leaving the house, Lokesh tells Bhabho that there is a ritual; the bride-to-be has to bind a thread around the Tulsi stand at the house of the bridegroom. Bhabho permits Lalima to complete the ritual, but Sooraj stops her. It hurts Lalima.

Bhabho tells Lokesh and Lalima that she wants the wedding to take place at Jaipur, so that the old memories do not haunt Sooraj. They agree for it. Meenakshi thinks that Bhabho is doing this to avoid the neighbors.

After Lokesh and Lalima come back home, Lokesh tells his sister to check Sooraj’s gift for her. Lalima opens the box and discovers a gold chain with a pendant that carries the initial of Sandhya’s name. Both of them are shocked.

Lokesh opines that Sooraj still loves his first wife; Lalima thinks her brother is right. They decide to take more time before moving for the final step. Babasa tells Bhabho that Lalima must be hurt by Sooraj’s attitude. Bhabho thinks he is right. She tells Mohit to dial Lokesh’s number. Lokesh does not pick up the call. Bhabho becomes worried.

Shekhar starts for Raipur with his opera team, theater props and musical instruments in a big truck. Sandhya is included in the team as an entertainer. Shekhar is to meet some Mr Chris in Jaipur to make a master plan of Garjana. He tells the commander that no one knows about the actual venue of the meeting. The Chief Officer of ‘Mission Mahabali’ prepares his counter-plan based on the information provided by Sandhya.

The Chief involves two more officers in this secret mission and warns them about the secrecy. He also sends Zakir for a long holiday, as he thinks that the latter is still not out of the grief of Sandhya’s death.
