Diya Aur Baati Hum: Bhabho-Babasa To Make Mohit-Vikram Realise Their Value

Diya Aur Baati Hum has always thought audience a lesson. Be it the need to respect elders or to give importance to duty or relationship of daughter-in-law and mother-in-law - it has always given some or the other moral to the audiences. Now the story takes on younger generation who ditch their parents for their needs!

We saw how Bhabho's son Vikram got trapped by his wife Meenakshi's words and agreed to accept Ankur's deal. Mohit, who was selfish, along with his wife Emily, in turn agreed for Meenakshi-Vikram's words. Both Bhabho's sons Vikram and Mohit along with their wives Meenakshi and Emily took Bhabho's fingerprint when she was asleep in hospital. She was admitted for kidney replacement.

Ankur, who knew very well about Bhabho's sons and daughter-in-law character, wanted to show how selfish they were. He made Vikram-Meenakshi to get thumb impression of Bhabho on a papers so that Vikram gets the house under his name. In turn, they get amount for Bhabho's operation and Ankur can sell that house and make it commercial space. Ankur even made a deal that if they did this done, he would even give them flats, so that they can stay separately.

After Sandhya (Deepika Singh) was back home, Bhabho made division of house so that she teaches their children and daughter-in-law, a lesson for this mistake. She made Emily and Meenakshi stay separately in the same house and manage kitchen and home separately. She even asked them to pay double the rent that Sooraj (Anas Rashid) was paying when he stayed separately. She asked each son to pay the rent of Rs 5000 including their parlor and sari shops.

Bhabho even asked Emily and Meena to take their kids with them and not to leave at home when they go to work. She said they are grandparents of kids and not servant. Babasa even agree with what Bhabho says.

This shocks both daughter-in-laws. Now it has to be seen how both sons and their wives will manage home without elder's help. She will make them realise that being selfish and ditching their parent will never make them happy.
