Diya Aur Baati Hum’s Meenakshi Aka Kanika Maheshwari Back To Work!

Star Plus' Diya Aur Baati Hum's (DABH) Meenakshi aka Kanika Maheshwari was on maternity leave and recently (4th April) she gave birth to a baby boy.

We have been missing Meenakshi's comedy on the show and she will soon be seen as she is back to work. According to Telebuzz she has started shooting from 17th April and will be seen in the upcoming episodes.

Telebuzz quotes a source as saying, "Kanika will soon be back on the show and she has already started shooting from yesterday. In the upcoming episodes of the show, she will be seen coming back to India from abroad along with Vikram (Karan Goddwani)."

DABH took a leap of six years, where all babies of Bhabho's sons have grown up to naughty and pampered children. In the show, Kanika, who plays the role of Meena and her husband Vikram, who were staying abroad will be coming back. In the recent episode, we saw how Meena's daughter Mirsri panic when she loses hers and her mom's jewellery which she had kept in a box to take a snap. She wanted to take a picture wearing them.

Misri and Pari start panicking and search everywhere in the room. Pari's mother Emily too join them in searching. Misri says to Pari that if her mom finds them missing, she will kill her as her mom loves jewellery more than anything. This incident indicates Kanika will soon be back on the show.

In the upcoming episode, we will see Pari blaming her father Mohit for stealing the jewels. She thinks that he might have stolen the jewels as he was in need of money.
