Diya Aur Baati Hum: Bhabho Stops Divorce Between Sooraj-Lalima

Diya Aur Baati Hum's October 23rd episode: Sooraj and Sandhya request Lalima to leave her rights and help them get reunited. Sandhya tells Lalima that Sooraj got married to her when he was not mentally fit; a marriage in this condition is not legally acceptable, argues Sandhya. She begs before Lalima for her rights.

Lalima says that she does not want to separate Sooraj and Sandhya, because they are deeply in love even after so many years of marriage! She promises to cooperate with them! Sooraj expresses his heartiest gratitude to Lalima.

Bhabho gives a tray of saree and accessories to Lalima for her Muh-Dikhai (the introduction of a bride) ritual. Lalima convinces Sandhya to take her place in the ritual. The neighbors start gossiping about the ritual. They think Bhabho is going to introduce Sandhya!

When the guests arrive, Bhabho goes to see whether Lalima is ready! She discovers Sandhya in Lalima’s place and erupts. Sooraj takes Lalima to the divorce lawyer!

Meenakshi reports to Bhabho that she has seen Sooraj and Lalima going to the divorce lawyer’s office! Sandhya tries to say that she did not force Lalima, but Bhabho is not ready to hear anything!

Bhabho tells Sandhya that she will never let Lalima be deprived of what she rightfully deserves; she will win over law, vows Bhabho. She leaves the function ground in a hurry.

Sooraj reads out the divorce paper to Lalima. Lalima tells the lawyer that she does not want Sooraj to stay in a forced marriage! Bhabho rushes to the lawyer’s office and stops Lalima from putting her fingerprint on the paper.
