Diya Aur Baati Hum: There Was No Marriage Between Lalima And Sooraj!

Diya Aur Baati Hum's October 24th episode: Bhabho rushes to the lawyer’s office after Meenakshi reports that she has seen Sooraj and Lalima. She reaches the office right after Lalima puts her fingerprint on the divorce paper. In the Rathi house, Sandhya comes downstairs and welcomes the guests. She is stopped by Bhabho, who says that Lalima is the bride, not Sandhya!

The guests question Bhabho how she can say so! Bhabho comes to Sandhya and tells her that she does not obey the legal divorce. She even says that she will die, if Lalima leaves the house!

Sooraj requests Bhabho to consider the matter. Bhabho publicly tells Sooraj that he has to consider who the ideal life partner is for him! She gives Lalima a tiny Gopal idol, which was given to Sandhya before, as a gift from the mother-in-law! Sandhya breaks down!

Later, Mohit meets Lalima and Lokesh. He tells Lalima that she is a shrewd woman who has framed Sandhya. He shows the man who helped Lalima in the fire episode. Lalima and Lokesh see the man standing near their house.

Mohit says that the man has kept a video record of the whole incident and there is no evidence of marriage between Sooraj and Lalima! Mohit blackmails the duo with the video. Lalima agrees to bribe him!

After Mohit leaves, Lokesh says that he told the lie because there was no other way out to unite Sooraj and Lalima; he could not see her sacrifice go in vain! Lalima says she is no angel; she is a common woman who is deeply in love with Sooraj. Sandhya must go from Sooraj’s life, says Lalima!
