Diya Aur Baati Hum: Sooraj Innocent; Lalima The Reason Why Bhabho Murdered Mohit!

The current track of Diya Aur Baati Hum deals with Mohit's murder case; Sandhya (Deepika Singh) and Satyadev Tripati investigate the case. Sandhya will be shocked with Emily, Lokesh and Sooraj's (Anas Rashid) confessions of killing Mohit.

Sandhya senses that her family is hiding something from her and tries to solve the mystery. She also feels that Emily, Lokesh and Sooraj are not the real culprits and they are taking the blame, to save someone else.

While investigating the case, Satyadev comes to know that Emily was lying and trying to save her daughter Pari. Satyadev feels Pari is the real culprit as per Komal's statement. But Sandhya comes to Emily's rescue as she explains what actually happened.

Sandhya asks Pari about her last meetup with Mohit. Pari narrates the story, she says that she was irritated with her father's behaviour towards Emily. Pari wanted Mohit to divorce Emily and had taken the divorce papers to the spot.

Mohit gets angry and tears the papers. The police find the papers near the murder spot and think Pari is the culprit.

Emily breathes a sigh of relief when she finds out her daughter is not the murderer. Emily had doubt on Pari as she had read her personal dairy in which she had mentioned that she is going to put an end to Mohit's story. Also, finding the divorce papers on the spot was another reason to doubt on Pari. Also, Pari went into a shock after Mohit's death, which made Emily conclude that Pari is the real culprit.

Meanwhile, Satyadev takes Sooraj's statement as he was another one among the suspects. Sandhya finds this situation difficult to handle, but unfortunately Sooraj keeps on lying.

Sooraj

The reason why Sooraj lied, is his mother. He decides to keep the police engaged by confusing them until Bhabho goes for the surgery.

Sandhya Shocked With Sooraj’s Confession

After Bhabho goes to Jaipur for the surgery, Sooraj confesses the crime and will be jailed. He will also be given death sentence.

Sooraj-Sandhya

Sandhya will not be able to handle this, as she knows Sooraj has not killed Mohit and is hiding the truth to save the real culprit. She tries to ask him, but to no avail.

Bhabho

When Sooraj is about to be hanged, Bhabho stops the police. Bhabho reveals the real reason behind Mohit's death.

Lalima

Bhabho confesses that she killed her son Mohit as she had caught him, attempting to rape Lalima. To save Lalima she killed Mohit as she was left with no other choice.
