Diya Aur Baati Hum: Sooraj To Get Engaged To Lalima Without His Knowledge!

In Diya Aur Baati Hum, Bhabho is adamant on getting her son Sooraj (Anas Rashid) married, for which she chooses Lalima. Tough Sooraj hasn't recovered from the shock of his wife's (Sandhya) death, Bhabho decides to wipe all memories of Sandhya (Deepika Singh) with the help of another girl in his life.

Bhabho thinks Sooraj hasn't got his share of love by marrying Sandhya who has always been there for the country and not for her family. This time too Sandhya had saved Bhabho and Sooraj from getting into the train in which bomb was implanted and later her death news comes as a shock to the Raati family.

Bhabho, who is too much hurt and is also angry on Sadhya wipes all her memories by burning all her things. But Sooraj and son Ved haven't forgotten Sandhya.

In the recent episode, we saw how Bhabho and Babasa go to Lalima's house taking Sooraj's marriage proposal. Lalima's brother plainly refuse for the proposal as Sooraj is married and has eight year old son. Lalima's brother think Bhabho is taking advantage of their loneliness and he also feels Lalima is good enough to get efficient husband.

Bhabho, who is upset with the rejection, tries to make Lalima and her brother understand taking Lord Shiva's example whose second wife was Parvati and the world prays them. Lalima, who is devotee of Lord Shiva gets impressed with Bhabho's proposal and accepts the proposal.

Bhabho is happy, but the other members of the family are worried as Lalima is kept in dark regarding Sooraj's condition. While Emily is worried on how Sooraj will take this marriage.
