Popular television actress Priya Tandon, who currently plays the role of Swarnalekha in Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani, recently tied the nuptial knot with longtime beau and director, Rudra Anand. The marriage was solemnised on 5th December, in Delhi.

Priya, who hails from Delhi, met the man of her dreams on the sets of Savdhaan India, two years ago. The two met each other in Mumbai and a beautiful friendship blossomed. They could not resist falling in love with each other. The rest, as they say, is history.

A common friend to the couple shared the ecstatic news of their wedding. The wedding was a small and quiet affair, which took place amidst close family and friends. "The couple is already back and resumed work", revealed the source.

Talking about her marriage, Priya shared, "Yes, I got married and it was a beautiful time with my family and friends. Rudra and me both belong to Delhi, but are working in Mumbai. Being from the same industry has worked in our favour as we both understand each other much better."

In reel life, Priya plays the elegant, bashful and bold Princess, Swarnalekha. On the show, she undergoes boundless misery by her husband, but in real life, she has found true love and friendship in her husband, Rudra Anand.
