Jodha Akbar: Jodha Blamed For Hamida’s Heart Attack

Hamida faints at the meeting in Dewan-E-Khas. The doctor says that Hamida has fallen ill due to a massive heart attack caused by excessive mental stress. She also tells everyone to be cautious about the patient’s mental peace after she recovers.


Aunt Gulbadan angrily opines that Jodha is responsible for Hamida’s illness. She says that Jodha’s refusal to accept Islam and her act of interrogating Hamida have brought the biggest insult upon the Chief Lady of the State.

Rukaiya also leaves no scope of accusing Jodha. Jodha says that she wanted to talk with Hamida in private while Hamida herself became stubborn to call the meeting at Dewan-E-Khas. Salima’s support for Jodha remains unchanged. Jodha comes to see Hamida. Hamida recovers and tells Jodha to leave the room.

Hamida becomes worried for Jalal and his sons. She says that she will eat nothing until everyone returns safely. Gulbadan tells Hamida to stop worrying and take care of her health. Hamida remains stubborn.

Birbal tells Todarmal that the matter has become too serious and the Emperor must be informed, but before that they must talk with Jodha. Jodha remains upset about Hamida’s health. Akbar is happy to see his success in the war.
