Jodha Akbar: Jodha Not Allowed For Conversion, Salim More Arrogant

Jodha Akbar's April 8th episode: Jodha tells Jalal that she is not able to bear that Salim is being called an illegitimate child; she insists on converting to Islam. Akbar says that their relationship started with the ‘no conversion’ clause and it was the base of the relationship. They have respected each other’s culture for so many years and if it is broken now, it would bring an insult upon the relationship.

Moti tells Jodha that she has made all arrangements of the vrat that Jodha is to observe to wish good luck to her husband and family. Jodha says that she will not keep the vrat. She adds that she wants to accept Islam to solve Salim’s problems, even after the Emperor has forbidden her to do so.


Akbar comes to talk with Jodha and asks her who will take the responsibilities of puja in her absence; Jodha becomes worried, but she says that she will stick to her point until he gives her the permission of conversion.

The ambassador of Tehran comes to meet Akbar. He says that the King of Tehran wants to become friends with Akbar to fight against the King of Iran. Akbar accepts his conditions and agrees for the political tie.

Mirza Hakim sends a message where he says that he has set ties with the surrounding countries of Kabul, to make a big force against Iran. Akbar thinks now he can teach a lesson to Shah Iran.

Murad sends message to Salim telling him to meet promptly to discuss some issues of the state. Salim receives the message when he is spending time with Anarkali. He refuses to meet Murad. Murad becomes angry.
