Jodha Akbar: Salim Becomes Betrothed To Man Bai

Jodha Akbar February 10th episode: Jodha slams Salim for visiting the brothel, after she finds him there. She orders him to get ready for his engagement with Man Bai. Salim refuses to accept the relationship. Jodha comes back to the palace with a heavy mind.

Jodha calls King Bhagwandas in private and requests him to break the union of Salim and Man Bai. She says that Salim does not deserve being Man’s husband, as he is addicted to brothel.

King Bhagwandas says that it is not a big fault, as kings and princes are often addicted to whores. And it is not possible to break the match now, after the grand announcement. It will bring a big insult upon his family and no one will marry Man Bai, declares Bhagwandas. Daniyal listens to the discussion and decides that he cannot let Man Bai’s life be ruined. He decides to talk with Salim.

Aziz Koka and Qutub inform Salim that they have caught two spies who have come to Agra with some criminal intention, taking the advantage of Akbar’s absence. They have kept a girl as hostage, adds Qutub.

Salim comes to rescue the girl, who is none other than Anarkali. He fights against the goons and rescues her. She thanks him formally, but he insults her. The memories keep torturing him. Daniyal comes to him and asks whether he is still in love with Anarkali. Salim says that he hates her.

Daniyal requests Salim not to break Man Bai’s heart as she is innocent. Salim attends the function in the evening and accepts the relationship formally. Jodha becomes confused with Salim’s behavior. Rukaiya feels amused!
