Jodha Akbar: Anarkali Recovers The lost Honour Of Her Father

Jodha Akbar February 12th episode: Salim becomes engaged with Man Bai in a grand ritual. Jodha notices his sad demeanour and becomes tensed again. Anarkali presents her performance and wins accolades from all. She is flooded with rewards.

Anarkali says that she is not interested in material rewards, rather she expects something else. She demands justice for her late father Rashid Khan, who fought against the false allegation of treachery throughout his life and died pathetically. Akbar becomes surprised at the cruelty of the common people towards Rashid.

Akbar issues an order to notify that Rashid Khan is not a traitor and if anyone calls him a traitor again, he will be punished. He orders to build an honourable grave for Rashid. He also assures full support for Anarkali and her mother. Anarkali expresses her gratitude most cordially and leaves the court.

But her struggle does not end. Salim catches her and attacks her with verbal abuses. He again calls her a ‘traitor’s daughter’. She vehemently protests. Not only that, she accuses Salim of ruining her life.

Anarkali says that she fell in love with Prince Salim, without knowing his true identity. She was struggling hard to save the life of her father, but she was dragged to the brothel and kept as a captive for a whole night. Her life was spoilt after that night.

Anarkali mentions that she was dragged to the brothel by Salim’s order. Salim is surprised at this as he has never given such order to anyone. He decides to find out the person who has done it. Jodha sees Salim holding Anarakali’s hand and becomes tensed.
