In Jodha Akbar, Jodha (Paridhi Sharma) comes in search of Salim, but meets Rukhs and says that she want to gift Salim something he likes on their anniversary. Jodha wants to announce Salim's marriage with Mann Bai. Rukhs, who knew the fact that Salim loves Anarkali, doesn't reveal it to Jodha and but in turn congratulate her.
Salim accepts the heir's position for which Jodha and Akbar (Rajat Tokas) are seen happy. Salim is given the position and he uses it first to help his brother-like - Qadir. He even promote other soldiers. Seeing him do this good work, Akbar is happy and tells the same to Jodha.
Haider and Rukhs, on the other hand, are glad with his position as this will distance Salim and Jalal. Rukhs thinks that though Salim got power, she will use it accordingly. Haider says with this power there would be lot of differences between Salim and Akbar as their ways of seeing things are different.
Jodha asks Qutub's mother about her future daughter-in-law. She even gives her gifts and says Qutub is like her son. Akbar adds that there would be a huge celebration. Jodha and Akbar, after Shamshad leaves, discuss about their son Salim's marriage, and also share a romantic moment.
Anarkali (Nadira), who is on her way with her family in search of Salim (Qutub), hopes to see him soon. Salim's brothers and sisters are seen together wishing him on his big day as he has become the second strongest after his father Akbar. Ones all of them leave, Salim will be seen with Qutub. He would be telling Qutub that he doesn't want to remember Nadira ever.
Anarkali will be seen in Agra and wanting to meet Jodha, but the soldiers stop her. Hoshiyar sees her and informs the same to Rukhs, who is shocked.
It has to been seen if Rukhs allows her to meet Jodha. If she meets, Jodha would know the fact that Salim is in love with Anarkali and not Mann Bai, and her plans would not work.
