Jodha Akbar: Salim Gets Married To Man Bai

Jodha AKbar's July 16th episode: Murad gives a key and a dagger to Shahbuddin and tells him to escape from the prison cautiously. Shahbuddin unlocks the prison door with the key. A guard sees him escaping and catches him. He kills the guard and escapes.

Shahbuddin comes to the jungle as he was instructed by Murad. Murad waits for him on horseback. Rahim is promptly informed and he chases the criminal. Shahbuddin sees Murad and hopes that the prince will save him.

Murad kills Shahbuddin before Rahim can catch him. He says that cheating is absolutely fair in politics! Rahim reaches the site and sees the dead body. Murad explains that he saw the criminal escaping and killed him. Rahim gives a doubtful stare at Murad.

Jodha comes to know about Madhav Singh’s conspiracy of killing Salim and and Akbar. She quickly sends a message to Akbar and herself rushes towards Salim’s room.

Madhav Singh comes in Salim’s room before Jodha and says that he will never let a Rajbangshi princess get married to a Mughal. He attacks Salim with his sword. Salim is shocked; he fights hard for self defense, without any weapon.

Jodha comes and stops Madhav with her sword. Akbar, Bhagwandas and Man Singh come soon. Jodha forbids Akbar to kill Madhav as it is a day of festival. Madhav is sent to the prison.

Salim and Man Bai get married in a grand ceremony following both the Hindu and the Muslim customs. Akbar feels relieved and celebrates the occasion with the family.
