Jodha Akbar: Jodha Starts Spice Trading, Rukaiya Feels Jealous

Jodha Akbar's July 17th episode: Jodha suggests that Salim and Man Bai should be sent for a trip so that they can understand each other and start developing their companionship. Akbar is informed that there is an invitation Jodha Akbar's July 17th episode: from the King of Kashmir; Jodha suggests that Salim and Man should be sent there. Akbar agrees and orders Salim to get ready for the trip.

The English ambassadors visit the Mughal court to give some business proposal on behalf of the Queen of England. They propose to buy spices from India to sell in the market of England. Akbar says that he will give his reply later.


Jodha opines that the English traders should not be allowed to use the resources and the ports of India for their business. Rather the Indian Government can sell the products directly in the foreign market and make much more profit.

Akbar discusses the matter with his accountant King Todarmal and understands that Jodha is absolutely right. He sends his message to the British ambassadors, denying the permission to access the Indian resources.

Akbar arranges a meeting with the farmers, where Jodha announces that the Government has decided to sell their spices in the foreign market and it would give them much higher profit. The farmers happily agree to cooperate with the Queen.

There is a message from Kabul where it is said that the state of Kabul has been attacked by an enemy. Akbar decides to send prince Daniyal with the Mughal force, to provide support to Mirza Hakim.

Jodha says that she will handle all the responsibilities of spice trading, as she has a good knowledge of spices. She takes Salima Begum with her. They start checking and packing the spices. Rukaiya feels jealous and thinks she would spoil Jodha’s reputation at any cost!
