Jodha Akbar: Akbar Again Overpowered By Black Magic

Jodha Akbar June 1st episode: Laboni’s mother prepares a special bowl of sweet for Akbar, following the tricks of her black magic. She tells Laboni that Akbar will be hypnotized having the sweet. She explains the cautions to be followed.

The Mughal palace glitters with the festive mood of Meena Bazar. Rukaiya opens a shop of special pashmina shawls, but Hoshier spoils her trading with bitter comments. Jodha accompanies Aram Banu in her doll shop.

Akbar comes to the Meena bazaar and straight goes to Laboni’s sweet shop. Everyone is surprised as it is a custom to visit the shop of the Queens first. Rukaiya comes to Akbar and criticizes his behavior. He ignores her.

Laboni gives the bowl of sweet to Akbar. Rukaiya says that the Emperor cannot taste anything before it is tasted by someone else; it is a security measure, explains she. Akbar ignores this warning too, and takes the bowl of sweet. Rukaiya stops him from tasting the dish.

The Emperor becomes violent and insults Rukaiya; he insults Jodha also when she tries to protest. Rukaiya tells Jodha that Akbar’s soul must have been overpowered by some evil force and he is not within himself. On the other hand, Laboni gives a spoon of sweet to Akbar.

The old woman who alarmed Jodha about the presence of some evil power within the palace, meets her again. She says that Akbar is under the influence of black magic and he needs help. She tells Jodha about Yogi Udaynath, who can solve the issue.

Salim is informed that Rana Pratap is seen nowhere around the war camp. He comes to know that this is the special technique of Rana, in which he hides himself so that the enemy becomes puzzled and misguided. Salim takes all possible measures to prevent a sudden attack by the Rajput King.
