Jodha Akbar: Akbar Reveals His Identity To The Mass

Jodha Akbar March 17th episode: Akbar is worried for Jodha as she wants to attend Jagdev’s invitation. Jodha says that she has to take the risk to unmask the wicked man. Akbar insists that he will guard her secretly. She agrees.

Mirza Hakim bursts over the news of Man Singh’s escape from the war camp. He gets Sharifuddin’s message and comes to know that the brute is planning Jodha’s kidnap to trap Akbar. Mirza rubbishes the plan and says that he cannot allow Sharifuddin to dishonor the women.

Sharifuddin comes to the relief camp with covered face and searches for Jodha. Rukaiya tells him that Jodha is out. Jodha comes to Jagdev’s place and sees that there is no guest, neither any arrangement of a birthday party. She becomes suspicious.

Akbar kills Jagdev’s guards and comes outside the room where Jagdev is flirting Jodha. Jagdev becomes too desperate to touch her and Akbar pounces on him. He beats up Jagdev and tells him to give out the truth of the ration scam.

Jagdev admits that he has tie-up with Mirza Hakim. Akbar drags him to the village and forces to tell the truth in front of the villagers. On the other hand an elderly woman complains in the village court that she has seen Akbar and Jodha meeting secretly and hugging each other. Two other villagers support her.

The villagers accuse Jodha and Akbar of adultery, instead of punishing Jagdev. They want to stone them to death. Akbar reveals his true identity to the mass, but they refuse believing him as he is in disguise.

Birbal and Abul Fazal come to the place with Mughal force soon and catch Jagdev. It is proved that the ‘common man’ is actually the Emperor. Akbar explains to the mass how he has always tried to think of their wellbeing. They chant slogans for his long life!
