Hoshier informs Rukaiya that the emperor is going to honour one of his queens with the title of Mallika-E-Hind. Hoshier says that it must be given to Rukaiya, as she has served the common people like a maid servant during the period of crisis.
Akbar comes to Rukaiya to show a gem which he is to give to the Mallika-E-Hind; he winks and says that he will announce the name in the festival. Rukaiya thinks Hoshier was right. She eagerly waits for the festival.
