Kaun Banega Crorepati 9: Amitabh Bachchan, Siddhartha Basu Alert Fans

Kaun Banega Crorepati, Sony Pictures Television's International (Global), popular game show that was originally aired on Star Plus and hosted by the popular actor Amitabh Bachchan, is in news for its latest season. But whether the game show will have season 9 this year is still not officially announced.

The 72-year-old actor took to his Faebook and cautioned the fans, who are eager to participate on the show. Along with Big B, Big Synergy promoter Siddhartha Basu also warned fans on Twitter.

Big B wrote on his Facebook page, "FB 1017 - SAAVDHAAN !! CAUTION !!
kuch log sms bhej rahein hain KBC season 9 ke registration ke liye .. ye satya nahin hai FAKE hai .. aisa koi prayatn nahi kiya gaya hai SONY ki taraf se .. (English Translation: some people sending sms on mobile giving an Email ID to register for season 9 of KBC .. CAUTION this is incorrect it is FAKE ..Sony has not sent any such instruction ..) You have been CAUTIONED .. it is FAKE and a SCAM."

Big B has also shared the same on Twitter, for which Siddhartha Basu too wrote on Twitter, "Be warned & do not get taken in by frauds. No new season of #KBC or registration has been announced."

It has been 15 years now that KBC started. Siddhartha Basu wrote on his Twitter recently (July 3rd), "It's the crystal anniversary of KBC, 15 years since the landmark show began. Thanks to all who've been part of it, and enjoyed watching it."
