Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi: Why Ritika Killed Chirag And Wants Ranveer From Ishaani?
In Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi, the makers have finally revealed the interesting part of the story that was a mystery. As predicted about Ritika (Smriti Khanna) being villain in Ishaani (Radhika Madan), Ranveer (Shakti Arora) and Shikar's (Arjun Bijlani) life, with the recent revelation, audience saw the real and other face of Ritika - ‘The wicked Ritika'.
Ritika, created such a situation, that her best buddy RV accepts her. Ritika was actually pregnant with Chirag, who played with Ritika's life. Ritika recalls the past, where she was targeted by Chirag, who played with women's life. Like how he did to other girls he ditched Ritika too. In fact, Chirag wanted to take revenge on Ishaani and Ranveer, so he targeted Ritika.
Ritika, gets to know about her pregnancy, at the time of her Sangeet ceremony. Her marriage with Ishaani's brother Sharman had got fixed. But Sharman gets to know about Ritika's pregnancy and thinks she is pregnant with RV's child, and breaks up with her.
Not able to take the insult, Ritika takes the priest to the jungle, where Chirag was injured after a big fight with RV. She begs Chirag to marry her, and says she loves him and not Sharman. But Chirag doesn't accept her.
When Ritika says she has huge money and can make him happy, Chirag says that his only aim was to spoil Ishaani-RV's life. Money isn't in his mind, and he can take revenge on Ishveer only with love and snatching Ishaani from RV.
Ritika-Chirag
Ritika, who got hurt and angry with Chirag's words, since he wasn't ready to accept her, tries to warn him but in vain.
Ritika Kills Chirag
Ritika pushes Chirag in the jungle. He hits to a rock, which leads to his death.
Ishaani
Whole story of Ishveer changes with this incident as Ishaani comes to the spot where Chirag was lying dead.

Ishaani, thinking RV killed Chirag, takes the fault on her. She leaves few things of hers such that police find them and arrest her. And rest of the story we know...

Meanwhile Ritika's father dies, and she will be left alone. RV, on his mother Amba's repeated requests and knowing Ishaani never loved him, accepts Ritika.
Ritika Calls RV Maseeha
Ritika wanted family, and she got it from Amba and friend Ranveer, which she didn't want to leave.
Ritika Killed Falguni!
May be Falguni got to know the fact of Ritika and didn't want to ruin her relation with RV, so she might have killed Falguni.

And now since Ishaani is behind finding the person behind Falguni's death and moreover, she gets to know that Ritika is not pregnant with RV's child.

Ritika, who is now scared that Ishaani would know about Ritika, and may take RV away from her, hires a contract killer to kill Ishaani.
RV Saves Ishaani
Unfortunately, Ritika fails in killing Ishaani and Ishaani was fortunate enough to be saved from RV.
