'Nach Baliye 7' Review: 'Too Much' Drama, 'Too Much' Chetan Bhagat, 'Too Little' Dance!

Nach Baliye is back with a new season, set of contestants, judges, format and a truck load of drama. Nach Baliye 7, the celebrity dance reality show, judged by Preity Zinta, Chetan Bhagat and Marzi Pestonji, had a new set of popular TV couples competing against each other at dance (at least that's what they say).

Going on air with a new format, Nach Baliye 7, produced by Ekta Kapoor, failed to impress the viewers, especially the ardent fans of the show. If the 11 pair of contestants' failing to make their mark was on one side, the painful feedback the judges presented to them after each performance was on the other. Rithvik Dhanjani and Karan Patel failed to impress as hosts as well.

Nach Baliye 7: Chetan Bhagat Was ‘Too Much' As A Judge; Tweeples React

The performances of each contestants, though not extraordinarily great, might have had the Indian audience forgiving and even waiting patiently expecting them to improve over the course of the show. But, the preaching Chetan Bhagat gave them were so gut-wrenchingly painful, that the chances of any sane person sitting through the entire episode, leave alone the season, is highly doubtful.

Preity, who is known for her witty comments, failed to show the better side of her at judging the dance performances. Marzi too was excruciating with his "comedy" fit for pre-schoolers.

The comments the judges passed, based on which the dance performances were scored, left the contestants riling. Some of them even expressed their anger and annoyance.

The dance reality show, which is formatted to be a lot like Bigg Boss, has failed to make its mark with the pilot episode. While the first weekend disappointed, only time will tell if the weekday episodes of the contestants practicing amongst each other will impress the viewers or not.

Upen Patel and Karishma Tanna were seen giving a romantic performance. Their first dance on the show left their fans wanting for more.

Sangram Singh - Payal Rohatgi

Sangram Singh and his wife Payal Rohatgi showcased their dancing talent. Payal did her best to make up for Sangram's two left feet.

Aishwarya Sakhuja

Aishwarya Sakhuja's performance with her husband was quite entertaining. Aishwarya also had her father on stage to show her love for him.

Sana Saeed And Dipesh Patel

Sana Saeed and her boyfriend Dipesh Patel gave the best performance on the show. It was easily one of the most electrifying performances of the evening.

Smilie Suri And Vineet Bangera

Smilie Suri and Vineet Bangera's performance failed to impress many including the judges. The couple are said to get eliminated first on the show.

Rashmi Desai And Nandish Sandhu

Rashmi Desai and Nandish Sandhu, the TV actors, were seen giving their best performance on stage.

Hosts

The hosts of the show, Rithvik Dhanjani and Karan Patel, failed to impress the viewers too. Karan was seen being rude with his comments too.
