Jodha Akbar's lead actor Rajat Tokas, who is getting married today, revealed why he stays away from the limelight so desperately. He says he stays away since this way it is easy to play his character.

"Reason I intentionally stay out of celebrity life is, less you know about me,the easier it'll be to be the character I'm playing on screen," tweeted Rajat a while back revealing clearly why he choses to stay away from the limelight.

Rajat is getting married to his sweetheart, Srishti Nayar, today among close friends and family members. Just like he has kept his personal life private, the wedding is kept a secret affair and not a single photo of the event is leaked.

Being a person who prefers his privacy, Rajat has stayed away from media and has made sure his work doe all the talking. With the immense success of Jodha Akbar and the fan following he has gained from the show, the actor has never needed any extra publicity as well.

"I'm a gossip hound, watching the media whip the small fires into giant forest fires so that they can cover the result is infuriating," Rajat had also tweeted expressing his anger on media.

Rajat stopped interacting with his fans on Twitter too after tweeting, "I kinda want to leave Twitter. It really isn't my cup of tea. Let's hope there's something exciting soon for me to stay... Otherwise..."
