Rithvik Dhanjani Refused To Co-Host With His GF Asha Negi For Ekta Kapoor!

Rithvik Dhanjani preferred to host Nach Baliye along with Ye Hai Mohabbatein's Karan Patel, rather than Indian Idol Junior along with his girlfriend Asha Negi. Karan will be seen hosting for the first time.

The reason for refusing to co-host with Asha is said to be Ekta. Rithvik and Asha, who got appreciation for their pairing in Ekta's Pavitra Rishta, couldn't say no, when Ekta asked him to host her show.

According to reports, Rithvik had auditioned for Nach Baliye first, when went fine. But the makers took time to finalise as they were looking out for other option. When Rithvik didn't get a call, he auditioned for Indian Idol Junior and gave a nod to co-host with Asha. But later when Ekta finalised and wanted him on her show, the actor couldn't say no to her.

Though Rithvik and Asha's fans will be disappointed not to see their favourite couple hosting together, the good news is that the duo will be seen performing in the inaugural ceremony of Nach Baliye 7. The couple had been winner in the previous season.

Rithvik and Asha started dating during their Pavitra Rishta shoot. They portrayed the role of Arjun and Purvi in the show. Recently, the makers of Yeh Hai Aashiqui had approached them for a special episode on their love story. Asha who is seen in Khatron Ke Khiladi 6, hurt her nose and Rithvik came all the way to the Cape Town to see her. The couple along with other participants had been for a dinner.
