Upen had already popped the question with a fake ring during their last days on Bigg Boss and now the couple got officially engaged in the current reality show they are competing in, Nach Baliye.

Reportedly, Upen went on his knees to pop the question and Karishma accepted. The duo even exchanged rings on stage as well. "After their act was over, Upen proposed Karishma on stage and they both exchanged rings," Tellychakkar.com quoted a source.

While there are many speculating the couple staging the engagement for the show, there are the ardent fans of UpMa who are elated with the news.

The couple are surrounded by controversies on Nach Baliye. Not only is their engagement called a sham, they are also accused of cheating on the show. The duo were accused of adopting unfair means to win tasks and were reported to have had arguments with the other contestants as well.

"They claim that Upen has been storing the answers to his compatibility tasks in the cell phone, which was found on the sets. He would leave the phone in a pre-decided location, away from prying eyes and Karishma would access it to figure out the clues to the given tasks," a Mid-Day report quoted a source close to the show.
