As we reported, in the show, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, the lead actresses, Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) and Shagun (Anita Hassanandani) shot for some action sequences - underwater and crocodile tracks. It is said that while shooting for these sequences, not only did the cast had tough time, but also the people behind the cameras also faced issues due to Mumbai's chilled weather.
Since the show is being aired on all seven days of the week, the cast and crew are finding it difficult to shoot for episodes daily, especially, the underwater sequence and crocodile track, because of temperature drop in Mumbai and there was no episode-bank. The cast and crew had no holiday as each episode took longer time than normal!
A source was quoted by IANS as saying, "For the entire sequence, the crew had to be in water. They all had to be in the river for a good 10 hours to ensure that the scene comes out well. Our shift that day had started at seven in the morning and we packed up only at three in the early morning,"
The source further added, "Next we know is everybody had fallen sick or got some infection thanks to the weather of Mumbai which has dropped down drastically. Having literally no (episode) bank at all, we're having a tough time in delivering an episode and juggling between our health and content of the show to make it look that real."
Now, we all know how difficult even the cast and crew had to go through to entertain the audiences!
