Be it Aditya of Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara or Shivaay Oberoi in the Star Plus's latest offering Ishqbaaz, Nakuul Mehta has played the roles with ease!

Nakuul hails from a royal family in Udaipur, Rajasthan. He made his debut with a Bollywood film, Haal-e-Dil and earned quite a fan following post the release of the film.

He was spotted by director Satish Kaushik during his college days for an advertisement featuring a soft-drink. Post this, he never looked back and was actively involved in theatre and commercials before his debut in Bollywood.

Nakuul has a Post Graduate degree in Management, from the University of Mumbai. This charming actor became a household name for playing the role of Aditya Kumar in Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara, which ended in 2012.

His chemistry with co-star Disha Parmar was highly appreciated. Nakuul has been missing from television since then, but, he was actively involved in the web-series, I Don't Watch TV, which was produced by him.

The series starred a number of popular faces of the TV industry and threw light upon the day-to-day lives of the television actors in a satirical manner.

Apart from this, Nakuul is a trained ballroom dancer and won the National Ballroom Champion'11, where he represented Maharashtra.

This actor is the only contemporary TV actor in the young brigade to be invited on 'We The People' with Barkha Dutt. Nakuul is happily married to Jankee, a singer and stage performer.
